  12. I tried the demo release of the AFS file-system.  Everything works
  13. as advertised except one thing...

  15. Some of the programs I use will often read/write a series of records.
  16. Several 1000s records, about 200 bytes a pieces.
  17. They are read/written 1-by-1 sequentially in small 200 byte pieces.
  18. (Not the most efficient way to do it, but that is what SnoopDos and
  19. DosTrace are reporting.)

  21. In one such case, the old Amiga FFS takes about 15 seconds to do what
  22. the AFS takes about 70 seconds to do.

  24. I most likely have something configured wrong some place within AFS,
  25. but where?
